Ive got 40k on mine and never been in a shop, also have ignored the stupid recalls. Have the V6 and change my own oil and use the recomended 5w-20w. I bet hardly any oil pit stops ever have any of that in stock. Not one
problem and I have a heavy foot. May get the spark plugs changed when it hits 100k. I bet Ill still get the same fuel mileage meanwhile.

I visited the Alexandra Road Showroom, Singapore with the intention of placing an order for the VW Jetta 1.4 TSI DSG. Going through the exterior of the car, I noticed that there is no rubber seal between the front and rear doors (all the other models have it). I can see through the gap. I am surprised to see such cheap finishing in a quality german car. I asked the sales rep and the interim sales manager but they could not give me an answer. I am putting off my order until I get an explanation.

My wife and I purchase a 2006 G-6 two years ago and the power steering is out with 50,000 miles on the car. This is absolute BS.

Little to say, we will be filing a lawsuit against Toyota and I hope more people complain about the brakes so they start a recall on them.

My company bought 22 2010 Toyota Corollas and have had to replace ALL of their front brakes between 5-10K miles. Toyota reps are saying that this is “normal wear and tear”. We replaced one set with the Japense replacements, and another with American replacements. Both failed within 6K miles. We have gone to a ceramic brake material, which appears to be working much better!

I have a 99 intrigue and my mechanic cannot find out where my problem is coming from. I have pumped
$2,000.00 into this car and my problem is still at large. The front end makes a chattering sound when I turn the car to the right. Almost like dragging tin cans on a string across the road. We have done the front axels, bushings. right cv cup, front brakes and rotars.

My power steering light is coming on in my 2006 Pontiac G6 and I called the dealership and they told me that something in the ignition is failing and I need to bring it in and let them diganose it to see what the set code is so they can diagnose the problem. They also said that the steering column will lock up. How in the world I’m I suppose to get back and forth to work with the car power steering locking up. I don’t have any money to get the car fixed right now. DO YOU SEE HOW THE ECOMONY IS NOW? Give me a break…

I have a 2005 G-6 they said they will fix it if the car has less than 70,000 miles.Well how were we suposed to know this.No one has ever contacted me and told me this information.No letter i never read anything in the paper never saw it on the news.So how are we suposed to know about bringing your car in before 70,000 miles ???? Its a joke right.My steering has almost killed me for years it locks up over and over.I would have got rid of the car but i cannot afford to.So i will gamble every day on the edge and scared to drive.My father always said buy GM so i did and now i know they are a big pile of junk.Now i know why they were going bankrupt. Ford will be my next car i am done with GM.

It still amazes me that there are so many cars that get recalled, I really had no idea that it was this bad, I still can’t understand how and why this happens as these cars are put through such tests before leaving the factory.

I took had a Mazda and had absolutely now problems with her can the only reason that she go a new car was the fact that the cars was just too big for her. No more kids to fetch and carry. Mazda’s are lovely cars economical and reliable. So this is a surprise that the have a recall on one of their models.

My first thought when receiving the letter about this recall was they want to get people to Hyundai dealerships in order to buy services and new cars. I generally don’t trust anyone dealing with cars.

I have had one of my front painted handles replaced already due to this problem, but my dealer STILL requires my car to see if it is one of the effected cars.

The Hyundai is a good car if you like recalls every 3-6 months. please shop around. The old saying you get what you pay for it so true. This car handles well and is great looking and the service department is great, but if it was a good made car there would be no need for the service department so often. My Sonata has 28,000 miles and has been in the shop over 6 times for major problems.

GM is recalling all of the VUE’s with potential defective door handles, however, they are replacing our painted door handles which blend in with the color of the vehicle with chrome handles - I didn’t buy the vehicle with chrome, I don’t want chrome - it’s like wearing brown shoes with a black tux. I want what I paid for, not something substandard.
