2010 JEEP COMMANDER Recall

 images5.jpeg

Chrysler has announced that they are recalling certain models of the 2010 Chrysler Sebring, Dodge Avenger and Dodge Nitro, Jeep Liberty, Commander, and Grand Cherokee, and 2009 through 2010 Dodge Ram trucks.  They stated that these vehicles may have been built with an improperly formed or missing brake booster input rod retaining clip.

This could result in brake failure without warning which could cause a crash.  Chrysler will replace the brake booster input rod retaining clip free of charge.  Owners may contact Chrysler at 1-800-853-1403.

Where is GM in this picture?

Ok now I had enough. Stop picking on Toyota or Honda already. I am CERTAIN they are not the only ones that have problems with their cars. What about American cars? People keep picking on Japanese cars…why?? Is it because now that American brought GM, they won’t report GM problems but instead to pick on the imports? Come on….let’s be fair here.

Ok now I find some American cars too….but ONLY HERE!! Where is GM here? Their cars are so perfect now?

I just have to pick a GM car and a list of recall will come up….recalls that will ALSO cause death…see for yourself:

On certain vehicles, the transmission shift cable adjustment clip may not be fully engaged. Should this occur, the shift lever and the actual position of the transmission gear may not match. As such, the driver could move the shifter to PARK and remove the ignition key, but the transmission gear may not actually be in the PARK position. This could allow the vehicle to roll away, possibly causing property damage and/or personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if required, replace the shift cable.

  2. Volvo Trucks Says:

This recall will be helpful in stopping the sudden accidents may be made by failure of brake. If by recalling these vehicles, the Chrysler is gaining its position and its market being more stable, then its not a big deal for a huge brand.
