There is a Chrysler recall that VW did not send to their customers that purchased the "German Engineered" Routan, but really got a Chrysler Town & Country, That cost 10,000 more, with a shorter warranty than the Chrysler. The Radiator caps on all 09 Routan mini vans need to be replaced as they are defective. I parked my new Routan with 1000 miles on it, noticed radiator fluid leaking and had the vehicle towed to the dealer, after 2 days waiting for a new cap, the problem was resolved. What would have happened if this happened on a long road trip, on a major highway. WV has no appreciation for its customers or the recall notice should have been put out as soon as the Chrysler one did. Chrysler has sent out letters to owners with their 4.0 engine. VW has not as of this date 7/9/09
