GM has announced that they will be recalling certain models of the 2003 Hummer H2. They stated some of these vehicles have a condition in which water can enter the windshield wiper motor module. If a sufficient amount of water enters the module, over time, the front windshield wipers may work intermediately or the may become inoperative.
If this were to occur, driver visibility could be reduced, which could result in a crash. Dealers will inspect the windshield wiper module cover, and replace the windshield wiper module cover free of charge. The recall is expected to begin during November 2008. Owners may contact Hummer at 1-800-732-5493 or go to mygmlink at http://www.gm.com/recall.

Reference Hummer H2 wiper recall: recently the windshield wipers stopped working properly and the washer motor stayed on until the washer fluid was exhausted. The washer motor stayed on until the motor burned out and started a fire under the hood.

I have a recent problem with my H2 leaking water somehow through the roof. It doesn’t seem to be coming through the moonroof because the inside is wet about in the middle seat area. Anyone else having this problem?
