Toyota has announced that they will be recalling certain models of the 2003 2004 Toyota Corolla and the Toyota Matrix. They stated that on certain models the bolts in the power window system can become loose and cause the window to shatter.
The recall is subjected only to cars sold in the US. Once the owners receive the notification from Toyota, dealers will replace the defected mechanism with a new one. Replacement of the driver and passenger door glass bolts will be done at no charge to the owners of the vehicle.
