Domestic Corporation has announced that they are recalling certain refrigerators used in motor homes and 5th wheel campers. They stated that the refrigerators have a defect that causes pressurized coolant to release. If there is a gas flame present, this could result in a deadly fire.

These refrigerators were installed in New Horizon, Scotty, Sprinter, Extreme and Kit RV, and Coachmen campers and RV’s. Domestic Corporation will repair the refrigerators for free by installing a secondary burn housing, a thermal fuse and a metal fuse. They have hired Stericycle Inc. o manage this and assist owners in finding the closest dealership. Owners may contact Domestic at 1-888-446-5157.
