Toyota is recalling certain models of the 2003-2004 Corolla, Corolla Matrix, and Pontiac Vibe vehicles equipped with power windows. The driver and front passenger door glass bolts may loosen and come off, causing the door glass to separate from the window regulator. Due to the components becoming loose and possibly rattling, an abnormal noise may be heard from the driver and/or front passenger door when operating the power windows.
The door glass may separate from the window regulator, bind and shatter during operation of the power windows, causing driver distraction and/or injury. Dealers will replace the driver and front passenger door glass bolts with newly designed bolts free of charge. Owners may contact Toyota at 1-888-270-9371 or Pontiac at 1-800-620-7668.

I have been a toyota owner for over 40 years and for some reason the customer service is poor. It was great when certified auto machanicns worked on your cars. Now that you no longer use special workers things seem to happen. I had service done to my Trecel in Litha Springs, my son drove the car the next day and the egin dropped. He ended up having the car towed to Virginia from North Carolina. After he had a non toyota person replace the engin it ran for another 10 years. I was traveling to virginia once christmas in my Matrix and stoped to have my oil changed and on my way to get gas less than 3 miles away from the Dealership I noticed my oil light on. They forgot to replace the oil. Now my enternaldoor handles are pilling on my Matrix. Whot is going on with toyota?
