Fiat is recalling around 2,800 Fiat and Lancia cars in Austria, most of them because of problems with their brake system, Austrian motorist club OeAMTC said on Friday.
OeAMTC said on its website that the affected Fiat Ulysse and Lancia Phedra models, built between 2002 and 2004, had problems with a magnetic valve that could let water enter the braking system that could freeze, hampering the brakes’ functioning. Other models had problems with the gas pedal or with the gear system, OeAMTC said.
