She was T-boned from the passanger side then slammed into the center divide head-on. We purchased the 2006 S40 thinking she’d be in one of the safest cars on the road. Boy were we wrong! The side airbag failed to deploy and every person on the scene of the accident questioned why the airbag didn’t work.
