Have new 1800 km mileage Lincoln Town Car. 4.6 liter VIN W engine, with minor coolant leakage in the form of mayonnaise a white oily deposit forming on the .inside the oil cap. When the oil cap is wiped clean within 10 miles the deposition forms again. The diagnosis is probably a leaking head gasket. Retorquing of the aluminum cylinder heads is necessary also the use of a stop leak powder in the cooling system may be necessary. Do not believe the dealer when he says this is normal, if left undetected serious engine damage will occur. If your oil cap shows this mayo white deposit see your Lincoln dealer immediately
